A TEENAGE PERSPECTIVE ON SKINCARE PRODUCTS

Last time we discussed step three of my new Arajee skin care regimen where I reviewed the Skin Script Rx Clarifying Toner Pad Solution from Skincare Day Spa. Today we will be chatting about the awesome Skin Script Rx Light Aloe Moisturizer from Arajee Skincare Day Spa and how this product has helped soothe my irritated and oily skin tremendously.

Many people believe that moisturizers cause acne breakouts and clog pores, but that isn’t the case with this moisturizer. The formula for this light-weight moisturizer won’t cause your skin to be irritated or smothered, and will leave you feeling soft and clear. No more sticky feeling residue. Simply pat your wet, clean face with a soft bath towel and apply a small amount of product on the tips of your fingers and cover your face, neck, and chest in an outward motion.
Did you know that you should also be moisturizing at night? According to StyleCaster.com, you should be cleansing your face and going through your daily routine at night, and to make sure you’re applying your light moisturizer before bed. The moisturizer will work faster on your skin when you’re relaxing the body and not out and about being exposed to the weather and harsh sun rays. Also, remember to wear an spf sunscreen with your moisturizer!
After applying my old moisturizers it made my skin feel so clouded with oils that I had to wipe it off after only a few minutes to avoid having an intense acne breakout. With this lightweight moisturizer I didn’t feel any smothering or sticky feeling on my skin, and my skin wasn’t drowning in overproduced oil, even after hours had passed. The scent wasn’t too strong and it helped soothe my red, irritated skin from rubbing before.
Angela from Arajee Skincare Day Spa taught me how to properly apply this product during our product session, however, the instructions are also listed at the Arajee store for easy reference! When applying liquid products to your skin, you should always use the tips of your fingers as your palm will absorb most of the product and lead to product-waste and money down the drain. Your palm is the most absorbent place on your hand especially with lightweight products like your cleanser and moisturizer.
