A TEENAGE PERSPECTIVE ON SKINCARE

 

Hi there! My name is Autux and I am a teenage girl who struggles with acne. However common this is in teenagers; it doesn’t make it any less frustrating. I live in Florida which means the temperature is always hot and humid. I am sure you can imagine how this makes my skin look and feel on a daily basis. Not only am I homeschooled but I also work from home so my appearance is the last thing on my mind. 

That is until a week ago when I decided I was going to start a new skincare regime to keep my acne under control, find what works for my skin type, and help other teenagers find products that are affordable, easy to use, and actually work! Sounds like a myth, doesn’t it? I thought so too until I met with Angela from Arajee Skincare Spa in Sarasota, FL where she did a full consultation with me and walked me through a whole new world of the do’s and don’ts regarding teenage skincare.

She started with a virtual consultation where she asked me a series of questions about my normal routine, what I like to eat, and so on. Next we did a visual inspection of my face to see the portions I was concerned with. She made a few suggestions and provided a list of products used at Arajee Skincare Spa that she recommended for my problem areas that can be found right there in her spa and her online store. I was amazed at just how affordable the products and services really were. After browsing, I decided to order the items that were recommended to me and take it from there. 

A little less than a week later and my products arrived. I was so excited to give them a try and see what all of the hype has been about. I received the Raspberry Refining Cleanser, Clarifying Toner Pad Solution, Light Aloe Moisturizer, as well as the Retinol 2% Exfoliating Scrub. I took pictures of my skin before and after to see if there were any differences. Warning alert, the pictures are quite embarrassing.
