A TEENAGE PERSPECTIVE ON SKINCARE PRODUCTS

Image
Hey! Autux here with more from a Teenage Perspective. Last time we discussed step three of my new Arajee skin care regimen where I reviewed the Skin Script Rx Clarifying Toner Pad Solution from Skincare Day Spa . Today we will be chatting about the awesome Skin Script Rx Light Aloe Moisturizer from  Arajee Skincare Day Spa and how this product has helped soothe my irritated and oily skin tremendously.  According to the Arajee Skincare store , “Skin Script Rx Light Aloe Moisturizer is an ultra-light formula that absorbs quickly and weightlessly into the skin, protecting it from damage while infusing it with moisture. Perfect for oily, problematic skin types, the non-comedogenic formula actually regulates oil production to prevent future breakouts and promote clear skin.”  Many people believe that moisturizers cause acne breakouts and clog pores, but that isn’t the case with this moisturizer. The formula for this light-weight moisturizer won’t cause your skin to be...

A TEENAGE PERSPECTIVE ON MASKNE

Hey! Autux here with more from a Teenage Perspective. Last blog we talked about the last step of my new effective skincare routine, but this time we'll be chatting about something a little bit different. With helpful tips from Arajee Skincare Day Spa regarding “maskne” and easy, immediate tips to fight acne causes that you might not know exist!  According to AAD , “Skip the makeup when wearing a mask. Beneath a mask, makeup is more likely to clog your pores and lead to breakouts. If makeup is necessary, use only products labeled “non-comedogenic” or “won't clog pores.” If makeup IS necessary then make sure you have a mask that is labeled as “washable” so you can clean excess makeup that comes off onto the mask. When people report having mask acne they are usually wearing disposable face masks that have rough, unbreathable textures, so when buying a face mask feel the texture and try to change it out multiple times a day. Angela from Arajee Skincare Day Spa gave me some hel...

A TEENAGE PERSPECTIVE ON THE BENEFITS OF TONING.

Hey! Autux here with more from a Teenage Perspective. Last time we discussed step two of my new Arajee skin care regimen where I reviewed SkinScript RX Retinol 2% Exfoliating Scrub . Today we will be chatting about the awesome Skin Script Rx Clarifying Toner Pad Solution from Skincare Day Spa & how it has helped my oily skin immensely.  After putting on specific toners my skin will be left very dry & in a few minutes my skin will be very oily to compensate for how dry my skin had gotten before. Guess what - the Skin Script RX Clarifying Toner Pad Solution does not have that downside. Not only does it soak up the oil but it also seems to dry out the acne & help speed up the process of healing blemishes. Yep - you read that right. This stuff is pretty awesome! Did you know that toners play a very big part in your skin regimen & have several benefits & uses. One interesting fact about facial toners is that they can actually help prevent ingrown hairs ! According...

A TEENAGE PERSPECTIVE ON EXFOLIATING

Image
Hey! Autux here with more from a Teenage Perspective. Last time we discussed step one of my new Arajee skincare regimen where I reviewed the Skin Script Rx, Raspberry Refining Cleanser. Now, let’s chat about the fabulous Skin Script RX Retinol 2% Exfoliating Scrub from Arajee Skincare Spa Store that left my skin so smooth & feeling amazingly refreshed. I thoroughly enjoyed the texture of the scrub as it felt very natural & gentle on my skin. It had a light fragrance to it which was refreshing compared to most exfoliators I have tried in the past. It was very easy to apply & rinse off. Sadly store-bought exfoliators may contain small pieces of plastic or chippings from peach pits which can be very rough on your face & cause dryness or irritation from small scratches on the surface. These exfoliators will leave your skin very dry which will then trigger your body into producing more oil to replenish the excessive amount of healthy oil that was lost w...

THE BENEFITS OF EXFOLIATING CLEANSERS

Hey! Autux here with more from a Teenage Perspective. Last time we reviewed the first steps to getting started with a new skincare regime with guidance & products from Arajee Skincare Spa in Sarasota, FL. Now let’s talk about what happened next and how Angela (Esthetician at Arajee Skincare) made a huge difference in how I look at the health of my skin and my skincare regime. I was so excited to start on my new skincare journey with the beautiful new Skin Script Rx products that I had ordered from the Arajee Skincare Spa Store. The first step in my new regime was to apply the Raspberry Refining Cleanser . I was in love from the moment I opened the bottle. The texture was smooth and smelled like fresh raspberries . Guess what, after only one use and without any other products, it left my skin feeling very clean and soft.  Did you know that the most beneficial way to apply your cleanser is to place the product on your fingertips? Yes!!! Now massage it onto your face ...

A TEENAGE PERSPECTIVE ON SKINCARE

Image
Hi there! My name is Autux and I am a teenage girl who struggles with acne. However common this is in teenagers; it doesn’t make it any less frustrating . I live in Florida which means the temperature is always hot and humid . I am sure you can imagine how this makes my skin look and feel on a daily basis. Not only am I homeschooled but I also work from home so my appearance is the last thing on my mind.  That is until a week ago when I decided I was going to start a new skincare regime to keep my acne under control, find what works for my skin type, and help other teenagers find products that are affordable, easy to use, and actually work! Sounds like a myth, doesn’t it? I thought so too until I met with Angela from Arajee Skincare Spa in Sarasota, FL where she did a full consultation with me and walked me through a whole new world of the do’s and don’ts regarding teenage skincare. She started with a virtual consultation where she asked me a series of questions...
